There is a <span class="label-append">&nbsp;</span> after the label, and .label-append has the css display:inline-block which is forcing a new line.

I received an alert for https://xenforo.com/community/threads/welcome_your_reply_to_thread_x_was_submitted.185826/ and the alert has spacing before thread link. Windows 10 and Chrome.

Note that removing the inline-block display also changes the underline behavior of the space which isn't desirable.
