XF 2.2 Unexpected db error after rollback

site was running well with XF 2.2. Attempted online upgrade which failed (blank page displayed) after accepting the test/backup warning page message.

Decided quickest solution whilst away from home was to rollback using host's Jet Backup files for the domain.

This has resulted in An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.
Page Source shows:
!-- MySQL statement prepare error [1146]: Table 'laverdaf_xenforum.xf_data_registry' doesn't exist -->

Any advice/guidance greatly appreciated

That suggests the backup is corrupt or incomplete.

It could also be a problem with the restore process.

Thanks for the quick reply Paul. Will try an earlier backup.

Can now confirm an earlier backup has worked and site back online.
