RM 2.2 Unable to upload PDF as a resource?

I get this message. These are not the extensions listed in the Resource manager options. PDF is clearly listed in the options, some of the extensions listed here are not listed in the options. I'm not clear on what is happening here. We have many, many, PDFs uploaded by various members over the years, myself included. All of sudden, I'm unable to? Any ideas?

You can't add pdf files to the editor body for resources.

They need to be uploaded here:



If you have created the resource as fileless you will need to recreate it as a new resource allowing files.

OK, thank you for the quick response. I have to sheepishly admit that I don't understand what fileless actually means. Is there a write up somewhere on this?

It just means the resource has no files associated with it - typically used for guide type resources which have nothing to download, e.g. https://xenforo.com/community/resources/implementing-permissions-across-multiple-user-groups.358/
