Not a bug Unable to upload .pptx to resources, even when .pptx is specified as an allowed file type under attachments

I was using a style sheet that was apparently not supported in the latest version, so it defaults to the default style sheet, which is OK. However, I'm now unable to upload .pptx to resources, even when .pptx is specified as an allowed file type under attachments.

Are you trying to upload it as the resource content or in the resource editor?





Only the former is supported.

Admin control panel -> Setup -> Options -> XenForo resource manager -> Allowed resource file extensions

Yes. The extension is enabled under allowed Resource extensions and also Attachments (allowed extensions).

It is allowed under Resource extensions and I am trying to upload it from here (resource editor). What's interesting is that the only file types I can upload is a very short list of the default? file types. It's like it's not recognizing my complete list.

Can they or admin try to edit it and upload the file after the fact?
