I have a forum node with its permission of 'Private node' selected/ticked.
Admin/moderators and a usergroup have permissions to see this node, and post threads/messages to it. All is working as expected.
This node has a child node, its permission of 'Private node' also selected/ticked, and all usergroup permissions inherited. It's node options are also 'Display in the node list' unticked, and 'Allow new messages to be posted in this forum' unticked. It's intended to be a archive/read-only forum node of aged threads from it's parent node.
For the child node, with or without the 'Display in the node list' being unticked or ticked, it's not seen/displayed when viewing the parent node ( https://site.com/forum/parent.xxx/ )
Using either thread or inline moderation, as either admin or moderator, and wanting to move a thread from the parent node to the child node, the child node is not displayed in the drop-down list of nodes.
What is restricting the visibility/usage of the child node?
