This is odd, but when I try to edit a user whose username contains an apostrophe I get an error:

    The following error occurred:
You don't have permission to access /admin.php on this server.
Yet I can edit users without apostrophes (even those containing other non-alphanumeric characters) without any such error.

I can't reproduce it on my 1.2 test board.

Could it be related to mod_security?

I'll have to check, but it's a new error for me on the same old installation.

I'm pretty sure it isn't a browser, O/S or network issue, as I've replicated it in different browsers on different machines and different networks.

Almost certainly a mod_security-type issue. Hopefully there will be more information in the server error log (not XenForo's). You may need to contact your host.
