XF 2.2 Unable to add GIF button to ANY editor toolbar

I have absolutely no idea why this is happening but I can't get the new GIF button to show up on 2.2. Not sure if it had to do with my previously installed giphy-related addon or not but I can't seem to find a fix for this.

here i removed the button and re-added it in the middle



and here's the medium version not working also.

Have you input your GIPHY API key in the options?

Also your attached images appear to show some of the icons grayed out. You need to increase the number of visible buttons in the settings:

yes i did see this option. in the photos i have the visible buttons set to more than the amount in the bar at the time of the pic.

no where is that located in options? i searched for giphy and didn't see anything.

nevermind, i found it. don't know why it didn't come up in search the first time.
