It's kinda nice for them to finally see that annoying error. I kept getting bombarded with them but I could never explain how that happened. Ironically, only happened with vBulletin 4. No other application.

Not unique to vBulletin 4, or any specific application. A few occurances of it have lead me to find that the tmp drive was full so mysql could not make new connections.

The reality is that MySQL threw a wobbly, I believe because the /tmp drive was full.
