XF 2.0 Two Step Verification force on Administrators?

Both administrator accounts on our XF 2.01 system have had two-step verification turned on.

They originally did not have two step verification turned on.

We don't require two step verification to reach the admin panel.

How can we turn them off and not require they be used?

You must have enabled the “Require two step verification” permission for these users. Use Analyse permissions to establish which permissions are being applied to the affected users.

I'm struggling with the same issue currently. No matter what I do, the superuser account has 2SV forced on it, despite turning it off everywhere except config.php:



But it's disabled also for the user:



This is not a problem for non-admin accounts.
