XF 2.3 Two small presentation issues after updating

Hi,

the update from 2.2 to 2.3 went smooth including used add ons!

I detected so far only two small issues which I would like to correct / roll back to ther former state:

1st: No more picture previews in 2.3, example:

  • All registered users have the right to view attachments:

  • Rebuilding caches / Rebuilding media thumbnails didn't help either
  • Rebulding caches via Tools -> Rebuild caches -> rebuild attachment thumbnails didn't help either
  • PHP 8.3 is implemented with GD graphics Library by Host Europe

In 2.2 the embedded pics were shown, now only links to the pics. How can I configure it back?



2nd: the colour / contrast of links changed after updating to 2.3, example:

The link on the right side is nearly not viewable. Where / How do I change the colour of such links?

no one else with my problem that attachments are not shown any longer after updating to Xenforo 2.3?
Any further ideas how to handle it?

I made anther test with different styles: same effect with the Xenforo standard style, attachments are only linked, not shown directly.

Chrome shows me the following message by loading a side with attachments:

... but "proxy images" is activated:

1792436710338.webp

... the test is positive:

1792436841815.webp


Every help is still welcome!

In Basic Options, is your Board URL entered with or without HTTPS?

The most likely scenario is that your Board URL is entered with HTTP, but your browser is automatically redirecting to HTTPS because of security reasons. In that case, the fix would be to change the Board URL to use HTTPS.
