XF 1.5 Two Questions

Hi, I'm new to using Xenforo and just had two questions:

1) My forum URLs currently have /forum in them twice (example: https://streamauthority.com/forums/forums/how-to-stream-on-twitch.7/). Is there a way to fix this without changing the first /forums to something like /community? I'm using Xenword to integrate my forums with a Wordpress site, so the Wordpress site is "Home", and there is a "Forums" link in the menu that takes users to my Xenforo page, which is why I need the main page to be /forums. So I guess what I'm asking is if there is a way to remove the /forums prefix from the URLs of specific threads, or to at least change it to the parent Category name or something.

[Edit] I figured out how to fix the 2nd issue, so now it's just the first question. Thanks!

2) All of my forum urls currently end with ".#" (such as https://streamauthority.com/forums/forums/how-to-stream-on-twitch.7/). Is there a way to keep the .# from being used?

Thanks in advance!

  1. You can't remove the second one completely, but you can change it to whatever you want using "Route Filters" in the Admin CP.
  2. When editing a forum, you can give it a URL portion. If you do this then that URL will be used instead of the version with the node_id appended on the end. As you can see, we've done this for our Announcements forum: https://xenforo.com/community/forums/announcements/. Only problem is if you ever change the URL portion then any links pointing to the old version of the URL will not work (you would have to redirect these manually).
