Two forums, one database?

Hello,

I'm looking to create a separate forum on the same domain but in a different directory. I need the new one to use the same accounts database as my main forum. Is this possible? The issue I'd see is it overwriting necessary data from the main database and causing the main forum to mess up.

Thanks, looks perfect, the price is kind of steep though.
