XF 2.2 Twitter Gifs - Not working as good as they could

Has anyone noticed that Twitter GIFS will not play fully in embedded mode but require you to go back to twitter to view?

Would be nice if this could work similar to youtube or ticktock whereas it would play in its entirety within embedded mode.

The GIF plays fully for me, but does not loop as it does when viewing the tweet directly. Twitter doesn't seem to provide any option to control this behavior for embeds.

I only see about half a second before it stops, using Windows/Chrome.

Yeah I see your point, now that you mention it the gif above is a loop

So it basically plays once instead of looping

I will have to put my head down and try and figure out how tp recreate that.

Chrome. That's the entire length of the GIF in the tweet, actually. It just loops such that it looks like it goes on forever.

It is a neat effect when gifs repeat, unfortunate we cannot recreate that.

I wonder if I look at the twitter code and the embed code here it there is a manual edit of some sorts that could be done.

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't. The tweet is loaded as a frame so the content is completely up to Twitter, and there are only a limited set of options to control the behavior.
