XF 2.2 Tweets not embedded/unfurling? "Response returned a non-successful status code: 302"

Tweets aren't embedding for me. I tried many tweets, but they all just appear as a link instead of displaying the tweet content.

I tested unfurling on several tweets and it gave me this info:

The following error occurred while fetching metadata from URL (any twitter url here)
Could not fetch metadata from URL with error: Response returned a non-successful status code: 302

How can I fix this?

yes. I looked into it a bit more, seems like I may need a php8+ update... any other suggestions/tips are welcome, of course... and thanks.

When I load that tweet, it sends me to a login screen btw.

PHP is 8+ now, but still getting this error when testing the unfurl:

Are you embedding using twitter.com or x.com?

If the latter, you will need to wait for XF 2.2.14.

Hey,

Found the fix. It was my server that needed php8+ and then I pdated the Media Sites addon by @JoshyPHP and Twitter/X is now working.

So if anyone has the same issue, that fixed it for me. And thanks for the replies, @Brogan
