XF 2.1 Turn off signatures in posts?

I need to know if there's a way to make member signature inclusion on posts optional. If so, how is that done? We just went live this morning and this is important.

The only option is the one in account preferences related to showing signatures.

That's about halfway there and might actually be a nice add-on.

What I really want is for the user (assuming they have a signature defined of course) can elect to have that signature displayed with a post that they're making at that moment. I think it would be a bit that's set or cleared, which can be used by the Postbit template (or whatever it's called in this software) to include or exclude a signature at display-time.

It would require a new column in the post table to do it on a per post basis.
