Trigger navTab menu on text hover (and not on arrow hover)

Hello,

This problem is on 1.2, but it's for every XenForo version.

I made a custom menu, and I would like the SplitCtrl tabs to be opened on the text hover.

As en example, have a look at the Resource manager tab, here on xenforo, if you hover "Resources", the menu keep closed, and if you hover the arrow at the right it's being opened.

How could I trigger the menu when hovering the whole li ?
