I just migrate from php5.6 to php7.1 in a new server and now my modified TPU addon stop to working. Users can't register. The error is:
Error: Call to undefined function geoip_city_code_by_name() - library/TPUDetectSpamReg/IPCity.php:16

Because geoip_city_code_by_name doesn't exist.

Before the migration was working, probably in the previous server in case of error php went forward to the next available method and in this new server it throw the error.
I solved commenting from row 10 to 19 in IPCity.php and now it's working again (thanks to @Xon for this message).

I am having the same issues since recently, but have been on 1.6.6 for quite some time. I do have our external IP addresses added to the options. Also behind CF, but not since recently, anything I need to change for that to work?

Or is there a way to just disable the hostname lookup otherwise? And still use the other features?
 
What is the country codes for USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and other european countries?

Even though this is unmaintained.
I was getting around 30 requests from other countries every few days, so I install it,
the next day I only had 2, the following day only one
now None.
Great Addon.
 
I have a legit user that have post moderate cause of the detected city.
How can I "white list" him?
