This add-on is designed to work with the [bd] Widget Framework.

1. Download topthreadsplus_v1.0.zip and unzip it.

Cool idea.
One issue I see is it you give that 3 year old thread with a large number of views more access ... It will always be the most viewed !

Yup... what @Digital Doctor said, really needs a cut-off period to be set, i.e. most viewed in last 90 days, 180 days, 1 year, so you let really old and dead content just die, and not keep it coming back because Google decided to take some random thread and really throw a spotlight on it and deliver a whole lot of views to it, and subsequently some people then responded to it.
