Title length Define number of characters

A maximum of 72 characters would be very useful and important to meet the Google criteria. Titles with more than 100 characters are ranked very poorly on Google. I always have to change the titles manually and it's getting annoying!

It would be very helpful if you can define the number of characters for titles. minimum and maximum. For example, you should be able to define 20 to 72 characters in the admin area.

Date of the thread don’t matter, it’s an open suggestion.

The old suggestion was implemented, since XF does allow more than 50 now. This will most likely not be considered a duplicate.

Yeah, that one is about increasing an existing limit. @darkeye is suggesting allowing admins to define the minimum and maximum themselves. I will go through that thread later to see if it came up there, but the root suggestion was not the same as this.

This is hard to believe when Reddit is ranked very highly on Google and has a 300 character limit.
