XF 1.5 Thumbnail does not show on image uploads without mouseover

I was clearing some unusually over-sized image uploads that didn't resize and noticed that the Thumbnail for File Uploads in edit mode don't appear unless I do a mouseover. It appears to work, but it's confusing a few users who don't think their images are uploading.

This is taking place in Chrome for Win10.

There are no error messages in the admin interface.

Just to be clear, this is happening only in editor mode. If the user isn't confused the post looks fine afterward.
