I found the issue. There is a conflict with [OzzModz] Advanced Forms 2.2.0 that I just installed. The thread_view template. @Ozzy47 not sure who to ask to look into it. Any direction you can provide would be appreciated. Thx!

It's all good now. The template edits of this mod were not being applied anymore. @AndyB had me change the execute order for his thread_view edits and both mods are working with no conflict.

It worked to get the thread_view template edits be applied but caused another issue. I'm going to try and change the order of your edits to see if that works.

Andy needs to update his template modification from a simple replacement to a regular expression and be as lenient as possible with what to search for. Right now he is looking for 26 lines of code, so any template modification that runs before his, and changes anything in those 26 lines, will cause his template modification to fail.

Any chance you could add a variable in the templates that looks for the usergroup IDs that can be selected from options in the AdminCP? Having to re-edit add-on templates after every update is not optimal.

I ran into similar issues and created a similar basic add-on that shouldn't have any compatibility issues with other add-ons
