As designed Thread List Date Limit and direct URL access

I have set "Thread List Date Limit" for all my nodes to 3 months. Now when I manually try to access for example https://xenforo.com/community/forums/general-xenforo-discussion-and-feedback.45/page-115 I'll get redirected to https://xenforo.com/community/forums/general-xenforo-discussion-and-feedback.45/page-xx where xx is the latest page that covers 3 months.

If this is as designed I think it's a bad idea. If people want to access via direct URL access then allow them to do so. This could negatively affect SEO (you're redirecting an existing URL).

If you want people to directly access that page, don't apply the date limit. You've explicitly disabled default access to pages like that with the date limit option. (You can opt in with an extra parameter if needed.)

This doesn't happen in vBulletin so I didn't expect this.

Use the same query I gave you to set it to 3 months but set it to 0.
