1. XenForo can run independently of your existing WordPress installation.

2. You can check if the server is compatible by running the script and confirming the various extensions and versions.
XenForo System Requirements
  • PHP: 5.2.4+
  • MySQL: 5.0+
  • PHP extensions: MySQLi, GD (with JPEG support), PCRE, SPL, SimpleXML, DOM, JSON, iconv, ctype
  • PHP safe_mode off
Download the requirements test script.

3. Very easy, instructions are here: http://xenforo.com/help/installation/

4. Pre-built styles can be imported from the ACP, or you can create your own quite easily using Style Properties.

5. Yes, user upgrades are built in.

6. There may be something in the add-ons forum, but XenForo doesn't provide an official widget.

You can use the global RSS feed in Xenforo with the built in RSS widget in Wordpress just fine, I'm doing this on one of my sites and it works great.

A buddy of mine is a GoDaddy reseller and some of my xF sites are hosted there and run fine. As Brogan mentioned, run the script to be certain that everything is as it needs to be.
