Seriously, this thing is a nightmare to work with. If only for the fact that it doesn't play nice with the CTRL+F built into the browser. The search function is bad, because there is no "find next" function. Also, the linked template tabs is sorely missed.

Enable development mode and work with the files in the _output folder instead.

I agree totally with this. In some wordpress themes you get visual markers appear in the scrollbar for the search term:
