I enjoy my caps lock! I JUST DON'T LIKE READING THIS THE ENTIRE TIME.

I do know a few people who have a disorder and typing in all caps helps them type better? I think they're dyslexic... It's rather annoying in general, but for people who have a disorder it's the only online method for them to efficiently type?

I'm sure there's software out there for them.
I could do without constant caps. I've seen add-ons that can prevent this (not here yet?).

Because most databases are case sensitive and mixing case is a bad thing when inputting data.

A lot of work stations and software - especially older software platforms - require caps. I've run into it a lot and it sucks, but if you wanna work, you TYPE IN CAPS!

I produce engineer drawings at work and everything is entered in caps so its easier to read and distinguish the words.

I think of each specific key on the keyboard as a country. Caps lock being N Korea, we all know what should happen there and what necessary precautions need to be taken...
