Just did a traceroute... I am 89ms before I hit Level3 in NewYork then it goes to pot. All my latency is in networklayer.com's network.

I did two traceroutes, one from BT and from my from Employer (a member of LINX). Everything is fast to New York then the latency doubles. Still the performance is responsive from a user experience.
