When I merge two threads, after the merge I get:

After the merge is complete the redirect should go to the thread it was merge into.
 
Thank you for reporting this issue. The issue is now resolved and we are aiming to include that in a future XF release (2.0.12).

Change log:
When merging threads, always redirect to the target thread.
