OHHH you bring up food for my thoughts. Now I am strictly PC not for anything other than compatibility and the ability to build my own PCs and custom make cases. My lasted project is a Murphy Style bed that folds out of my wall but when raised is a built-in MAME arcade on PC with ultimarc stuffs (this interface is sheer awesomeness) a modded xbox 1.7 and a whole lot of trimmings...the pc part is complete I am now just building the bed which I can sleep on @ this point but I am integrating a whole bunch of things including a ac dc rectifier so I must make sure all my wiring is secure and I don't block myself in, and since there is no schematic for this...I'm kinda just freestyling. (I BABEL)Used to be strictly PC, but I switched to a Mac several years ago so I'm on the PS3 now.
My original point before I knocked myself off onto another tangent was... what positive things do you get out of a Mac. Like I said before my rambling, I just stuck with PC because that's the stick I've been beaten with my whole life ever since DOS no longer counted as a feasible OS and because of the fact I couldn't build my own I never got around to acquiring one. I was going to get a beastly pro at one point for video editing/capture but at that time I opted to build a video server for the home. What good things could you say for the Mac that could give me a reason to not so much switch but to have another utensil in my toolkit. I would never get rid of pc but I do know of some good video capture devices and their software/ drivers only work for mac and that was the reason I almost got one in the first place. A good friend of mine in the Halo2 modding community swore by macs and he was a beast on nix and video editing so I had no reason not to believe him as he was one of the most standup people I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I'm looking for what you think of Mac as far as your experience goes gaming and everything else included and if you would recommend one to someone who has never even owned a Mac based on being able to get used to the OS GUI.
NICE!
I gotta big Hi-Res monitor - Looks Fantabulous
I tried this for 360 and didn't like it on the controller, I think by the way the game ran though I would love it with a mouse...gunna have to try this now
