Hello all. Doing some website maintenance scanning the site for bad links. One bad link type/category I'm unsure how to deal with is "The Certificate for this server is invalid." bad link type.
When I visit these sort of links (via links in forum threads)...this site/webpage seems fine (site uses https, no weird redirects, not a 404 page, etc.)...and the URL in the forum thread matches the URL on the web page itself.
When I scan other sites (competitor sites & other random sites)...I don't seem to find any of these "The Certificate for this server is invalid." bad links. Thus I'm guessing there must be a way of dealing with them (without actually removing these links from forum threads on my site). Many of these links are totally legit & come from sites that are totally legit..thus can't figure out what's wrong with them.
Any wisdom out there as to how to deal with these sort of bad links?
