    Hi all,

    I would like know your feedback regarding which is the best opcode cache for Xenforo. I am trying to set the best server configuration for Xenforo. Did you some experience with they?

    • MemCached

    memcached isn't an opcode cacher only xcache, apc and eaccelerator are ;)

    Even though APC is 'official' and I used to be a big fan of it, XCache is simply faster (or at least easier to configure to be faster) and more reliable

    do you prefer version 2 or 3 of XCache?

    I use Arch Linux so always have the latest versions of everything :)

    I've just switched from APC 3.1.14 to Xcache 3.0.1 to see how that works out.

    Nice MattW, probably it performs better than APC. What is web server, Nginx, Apache or LWS?

    Currently running Apache 2.2.23
    I'm liking the new xcache-admin pages that come with 3.0. Last time I used Xcache it was 2.0 I had running

    EDIT: infact, looking back, it was actually 1.3 2 I had installed
