It uses the built in trophies system. As far as I know, [bd] Medal is an entirely separate system which can run alongside trophies.

From what I can see ... I can pretty much have the same set up .. trophies shown in their mini-profiles (as I call them), Madden NFL 16 AFC East Team Ratings, Along with a Few More Player Ratings | M3 Leagues as well as profiles? Being that it's built in, how is this better? Does it run more seamlessly? #Newb Thanks for the response, too.

There's probably not a lot in it to be honest, especially now that it is possible to disable trophies with XenForo 1.5.From what I can see ... Trophies have point values associated with them that by default determine a member's user title. Medals have no such point value. We use medals for recurring events such as photo contests.

It displays the trophies in sidebar but says "0" for some reason.

Hey folks - just a quick enquiry here...
We have numerous trophies set up and this add-on has been great in allowing us to categorize them - but no matter what settings I swtch, I can't make the trophies appear on user profile pages or in the postbit (not sure if the latter is possible) - where am I going wrong?
The settings I have: Max Displayed 10, Show on Profile Page Yes, Position Top, Show only Highest Yes, User Options Yes. Bit confused by this option!

I have the same issue. I can get the number to update by rebuilding the trophy cache, but otherwise the value never changes. Hopefully Jon can take a look soon.

That seems to have fixed it. I had very recently rebuilt the trophy cache and I didn't imagine setting the image paths on existing trophies would need another rebuild.

Why are only subcategories shown to be able to categorise trophies into? A root level category isn't shown on the trophy page, you need a sub category and then that'll be shown.
So am I meant to make a category called 'Trophies' and then my normal categories as subs under there, and then assign trophies to it? Sounds a bit redundant and pointless to me.

Is it possible to add the ability to choose the trophies so that when you add a new trophy was that, instead of which it is assigned?
Example:
The user has the trophy, after he fulfilled the conditions to obtain a second - he gets second instead of first.

The addon does that by design, it will show only the latest trophy awarded from the same category.
