Has anyone gotten this to work in XF 1.4? As I indicated before, it was blowing up even in a clean 1.4 install, so I'm not sure it is actually compatible with 1.4 as listed?
What happens when you try to use it? I've had it installed forever, but not used it lately. Upgraded to 1.4, tho.
I'm getting a javascript error when I use this with Sub-Accounts when I post a reply via the quick reply box. I do not get the error when I use "More Options..." It doesn't matter if I post as a sub account or not, it errors every time.
In the console:
PHP:"PHP <div class="baseHtml"><h4>Template Errors: thread_reply_new_posts</h4><ol> <li><i>Argument 1 passed to XenForo_Template_Helper_Core::helperUserNameHtml() must be of the type array, null given</i> in /var/www/sites/testing.[redacted].com/html/library/XenForo/Template/Helper/Core.php, line 1671</li> <li><i>Argument 1 passed to XenForo_Template_Helper_Core::getUserHref() must be of the type array, null given, called in /var/www/sites/testing.[redacted].com/html/library/XenForo/Template/Helper/Core.php on line 1687 and defined</i> in /var/www/sites/testing.[redacted].com/html/library/XenForo/Template/Helper/Core.php, line 1572</li> </ol></div>
The post goes through, but doesn't auto-load.
FYI, I installed the sub-accounts and post-as-user add-ons on a clean 1.4.2 test site with no other add-ons. Still get the above error.
This:
Yes.Does this add-on uninstall cleanly? I don't use it much, really, and one can always use different browsers to "post as another user."

Yes.
Yeah, I had no problem removing it. The whole point was to take that hassle away from the users though...
So does it actually work in 1.4 or not? No one can seem to confirm that it does, while the resource page says otherwise.
The alter-ego detector code only runs on login or registration, and doesn't even extend the Threads related classes.Getting these errors...

It looks like it is conflicting with https://xenforo.com/community/resources/alter-ego-detector.2405/ ?
The username it specified is the only user to have used the 'Post as User' plugin.
Also, I don't like the fact that it seems to be running under another admins name, why would it do this?
So, is this working with 1.4.6 or not?
Sorry was thinking of another plugin. No, not for us.
Works for me too on 1.4.7This add-on works fine as far as I know.
