I just installed it and checked it out, and it seems to be all set for 2.3

The only thing that didn't seem to work was the fireworks animation. For example: July 4th. (snow was ok, bats were ok for halloween)

Hmm.. It appears to be working fine for me locally; Have you tried it with just the default XF style?

Yea no dice with default theme, but I'm not too bothered by it. Everything else is working fine.

I went to themehouse.com to check out the updated Holidays add-on.

Couple quick questions willl:

1. I thought Holidays was free?...but when I go to download it...it says $10. Is it free or $10?
2. ThemeHouse page for the Holidays add-on says compatibility XF 2.1 and 2.2...doesn't mention 2.3?

We haven't updated our resources here for about 3 years now - the latest will always be available direct.

The coupon code to redeem products for free is in the description. We do need to update that compatibility value though, I'll look into doing that.

That's very pity, because like a lot of others I loved the addon.

Is it only removed from here and still available at your official site? Or is it completely removed never to come back?

Hey sorry! It really probably wasnt maintained enough to deserve not putting the unmaintained prefix and we really (as a team) want to move on from XenForo. I think Ozzy is moving on, and we gave him our addons last time. So that speaks volumes haha, wouldnt even know who to give em to. It should work fine though as is.

It's appreciated that your team was still doing some updates after exiting here. Any chance that this one might be added to the collection available on GitHub?

If you move on, that's cool--you've done a lot of great work. Those of us in the community just want to know if we should start replacing TH products from this point forward so we're not dependent on them and see support and updates vanish. I had that happen with some add-ons I was depending on, and only a couple were picked up by OzzModz. Left us in a difficult place.
