[TH] Custom Fields [Deleted]

What permission do I have to set to let users change the custom, trhead fields after the thread is posted? They can only edit the title, not all the custom thread fields. Is this a permission-setting or am I overlooking something?

They need permission to edit the thread (not just the title -- that permission was added later). If they still can't see the custom fields, make sure that their usergroup is in the list of permitted user groups for that particular custom field.

That would be the permission "manage thread". But then they can manage EVERY thread in this node... Not just their own... Is there something to do about that?

I think there is an add-on you can install that adds extra permissions for managing your own threads. It's not one of mine though so I can't remember what it is called.

With this add-on, I can force users in specific subforums to fill in a thread form when creating a thread, right?

And is there a way to auto-include the thread title of the created threads in target location? (Tagging)

Example (spoiler does not work, so I put it in quotes):

(category->category->forum->new thread)
Movies-> Our members -> What is your favourite movie? -> SBJ's favourite movie (new thread)

(Waindigo custom thread form for subforum "What is your favourite movie" )

Name of the movie:
Release date:
Genre:
Director:
Actors:
...

Name of the movie: The Sting

Director: George Roy Hill

Hey, this is my favourite movie because ... and ... so...

______

Let's say this thread is created.
Ok, but is there a way to let it auto-include thread title (here: SBJ's favourite movie) to target location?
As you see my favourite movie was released in 1973. So it would be great if the thread name is automatically included in section 1973.
And in section Crime, and in section Paul Newman, and so on.

Of course these sections exist somewhere in my forum.

I don't know if I could explain what I mean but I tried.

Waindigo updated Custom Fields by Waindigo with a new update entry:

Version 1.3.0 released

New features:
  • Added support for Custom Resource Fields in Resource Manager 1.1.0.
Existing users of Custom Resource Fields in Resource Manager 1.0.0 using this add-on should upgrade this add-on first, then upgrade Resource Manager, then rebuild caches for Resources and Resource Categories (Admin CP -> Tools -> Rebuild Caches) to avoid losing any data.
