I am noticing 'text-indent' references here and there. When I was a Search Engine Evaluator briefly last year, this was one of the things (among many others) we had to manually look for and report accordingly if it seemed deceptive.

So my question... is there any code in xenforo that might be questionable? Also, are these text-indents mandatory, and are there other ways to achieve the same results, etc.?

What is the problem exactly? Is there some problem with using text-indent?

There can be (search engines punishing as spam, or through a manual review). That is why I am asking how it is done here, and where. If one is hiding white text on a white background (not related but spam in general), or text off screen for example, that is naughty. Are they just done here with buttons and the like?
