Not planned Text box seems plain

Maybe it's just me but does the text box (Reply/Post New Thread,etc...) just seem a bit bland to people?

With all the black and grey icons and such it looks like a dated word processor doesn't it? Maybe it's just me but I really liked the look of the older version better.

Sure this one may be able to do more stuff or something, that's fine. But can the icons be spiced up just a bit? Some color here or there. Am I just too much into aesthetics?

They will stay as they are here, this is the default look.

On your own board, you will be able to customise it however you like.

The discussions over the past week have shown that it is impossible to please everyone.

You can easily replace the icons and adapt the styling using Style Properties.

This suggestion is therefore a "No Thanks" as the default look you see now won't be changing significantly, if at all.
