Testing User Upgrades?

Hi Guys,

We have a plugin that essentially needs to test user upgrades, so that when a usergroup is changed it does what it has to. How do we test it without actually paying for something since we can't create an upgrade with $0?

Or you could just use your own account and refund the transaction.
