XF 2.2 Test bounced email handling

What methods can I use to test and validate I have bounced email handling setup correctly?

Create a user with a bad email addy, then under Admin -> Communications -> Email users send an email. Then check the bounce log.
Of course you could start a conversation also. Many options.
