XF 2.2 Terms and Rules Query

Hi,

How come if I make a custom, php page it loads fine if I load it direct. But if I use the terms link in the footer with the popup code.

data-xf-click="overlay"

I get an error, see below.


and it loads fine if I load direct on browser without the overlay.

Why are you creating a terms and rules page as .php?

Use the built in help page function, or a page node.

Hi, Yes but I'm trying to get it to run such as https://website.com/terms.php as a popup.

Sorry your miss-understanding me, I'm wanting to get a custom.php (non XenForo page) file to popup but the data-xf-click="overlay" will not allow it as it shows an error.

Example if I add this on the XenForo footer it shows an error.
