I have been working on releasing a new site powered by XenForo - Technical.chat, a forum dedicated to all things tech. Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

Far, far too many sections.

I totally agree, too many sections or the design makes it look too lengthy. I would remove some for now till some of the forums get populate then introduce new sections. Otherwise, looks good but needs a bit more life to it as at the moment, it looks too 'white' and 'plain' for my liking.

Too many sections for me. In addition, I just don't see enough color contrast. Not saying you need bright colors, but a little variety wouldn't hurt.
