That worked great! But have I done something odd to my chat? The bottom of the chat box is flush with the outside box.

I'm not quite sure which bit you're referring to.. do you mean the motd text?

No. I'd take a screenshot but I can't. It's like there's no padding between the very bottom of the chat box border and the box to which I just added the background color.

Luke, about this privacy matter , do you recommend this solution?

By the way, I disable the speed mode and when I'm logging I've got a short security error message (resulting from the visitor state to member state - see screenshot) which immediately disappears once I'm logged. It's just a detail but if you can get rid of this, it would be nice.

No that won't help (would only block access entirely, breaking speed mode), you would need to adjust robots.txt to stop Google seeing the file

So could you create an option to let us decide in which directory to save the messages? With a correct bot configuration, it will help to increase the confidentiality.

If using server time is not acceptable, either disable Speed mode or set the option 'Timestamp format' to 'Relative' (which is the only one that will obey the user's timezone when Speed mode is enabled)

Google will always see the file, this has been resolved in 1.0.3

Upgrade to 1.0.3 when I release it shortly, the border will inherit your style's colour palette as it should

How difficult would it be to have it so that if someone posts anonymously using the [bd] Anonymous Posting addon, it doesn't have their user name in the Shoutbox?
