TaigaChat - AJAX shoutbox

If you haven't done this, it'll fix it. I went to the userlist (not usergroups) in the acp, found me, and sure enough, Registered member was my primary usergroup and Administrators was my secondary usergroup. I had to put me in Administrators as primary usergroup. Everything worked fine after that.

Yeah I totally read up on your problem, and looked. I am going to try it from a diff computer to see if its a cache problem.

I meant server side - APC etc.

Perhaps create a test user and fiddle around with their groups (particularly having no secondary group) to see if you can find a combination that works. The permissions are implemented pretty much exactly the same as in XenForo's own code, so I don't see why secondary groups are causing so many problems.

I restarted my apache server. I don't know how to clear the APC cache.

I have gone over user permissions, my permissions, everyones permissions for a few hours now... I can not get that darn arrow button to edit shouts. Can I PM you with admin login?

Just had a look at your permissions - turns out (at least for the RemoteAdmin user) that you had Administrative as a secondary group and Registered as the primary. For some reason this setup doesn't work with TaigaChat, even though I'm convinced the code matches how XenForo does it internally.

I've also added a note to the installation instructions so hopefully others won't have this issue :)

Were you able to see any drop downs on my test site? I still dont see any. I quickly made that account so you could access the admin cp. My SuperAdmin account (id 1) is "Link" user

They work fine yeah, though they show up white due to your theme.

Hahahahah Thanks man! I had it on my bad monitor that doesnt show that color well :) I couldnt see it! Excellent job!
 
FYI.. When I edit someones chat, and hit save it throws a Error, the requested page could not be found.

Replace library/Dark/TaigaChat/EventListener/LoadClassController.php with this (or wait for the next release), then simply add the template include code to one of the XenPorta templates :)

I am so poor in programming so I can't find the xenporta templates. Should you help write a xenporta mod?

Ignore last reply. Things seems too easy in xf.
Updated the xenporta template, it works.
If put in side bar, it cannot post shouts.
 
If put the shoutbox above forum list, it seems cannot shorten the height of sb. How could the height narrow down?

The height adjustment in the admin panel should work for the above/below forum list template too.
