Getting a server error when running the update.
  • ErrorException: Fatal Error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes)

Usually when you see something like
Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes)

It's a hosting issue not Xenforo...

Basically not enough ram is allocated in your PHP.ini settings

Xenforo uses more then the default settings especially when your using addons it needs more ram!

I host my own website on my personal dedicated server

Mine is set to

memory_limit=-1

Which is unlimited but most paid hosts won't allow it unless your account is on it's own machine.

If your not self hosted ask your website host to boost it up allocated more memory
