The OAuth client library used by XenForo (https://github.com/daviddesberg/PHPoAuthLib) is rather ancient, not maintained well and hasn't seen a real update since 2018.
I therefore think I would be nice to switch to a libary that is more actively maintained, maybe https://github.com/thephpleague/oauth2-client
