Since I can't post in the Customer forums, I'll post here.

I have a forums setup and we want to add a page to list our rules. However we need to be able to allow certain roles to have permission to edit these rules, given they change frequently.

Essentially I'm looking for a page without a sidebar and comments etc, that utilises the same thread editing features as forums, rather than HTML via the admin panel.

I know it's possible as I've seen it done before. How - I'm not sure. I can't see an add-on that replicates this.

If you can't post in the customer forums that might suggest you aren't showing up here as a customer.

If you are a customer, first of all you would need to log into your Account area and add your forum username to the "Forum users" page. Once you have done that you will be able to repost your thread in the customer forums.
