XF 2.3 Support processes for xf-rebuild:attachment-optimization?

I've been optimizing some attachments and this process sure is slow. If you have any decent amount of attachments the process takes forever. I had 23GB of attachments and it took 14 hours. The attachments are now 14GB so the savings are decent.... is there any way to add the ability to run more threads on this with the --processes option?

  xf-rebuild:attachment-optimization             Optimizes attachments to WebP format.
  xf-rebuild:avatar-optimization                 Optimizes avatars to WebP format.
  xf-rebuild:profile-banner-optimization         Optimizes profile banners to WebP format.
