XF 1.4 Suggestions required to create a premium membership forum

Hi All,

I am running a education forum, where I provide text, image and video solutions for Maths, Science for K12 students.

here are my requirements:

1. I would like to show text and Image content for free to all users.
2. Want to block video content for the premium users.

Here is my idea of implementing it:
Question will be the thread title
Text/image will be the thread content

Video solution will be thread reply. (Videos are hosted on Vimeo with privacy settings.)
Guests, Users and Search Engines will see thread title and thread content but not Video solution.

If you're really just trying to hide the video only, that would require some custom development. You can only prevent groups from seeing the entire thread content.

Remove the reply permission from the registered users group. Add it to your premium users group (presumably the one that is added when a user purchases an account upgrade).

You'll probably also want to make sure your admins/moderator groups have it as well.
