Lack of interest [Suggestion] Use attachments instead of avatars

Instead of having the thread starters avatar appear on the thread listing pages, how about the option to use either the first uploaded image attachment, or being able to select from one, just like the old thread thumbnails hack.

This would be a godsend for people like me who run sites based on the uploading of image attachments. Of course a mod could probably be made for it, but being a built in option is always better
