Usually, I just mark forums as read on the homepage. I don't have the time to go and read all of the messages that it says are unread. But what if I just want to see any unread threads that have been posted and I haven't even seen yet?
I'm suggesting the option to change if the forums say that there's unread posts or just unread threads. This could be changed in the user preferences.
