Suggestion: let us change our user titles when we hit 1500 posts.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could change our own titles after 1500 posts?

*sigh* it's a dilemma ... I guess we will just have to develop a keen set of observationary skills :)
 
We could have "Almost Famous" as a title. ;)

Though I do have to admit a witty title would be cool to have. :p
 
I don't think such an option would be abused, since the most active members here are serious people with a love for the software. If you let all members change their own title, then we could possible see some misuse.

I'd say 2,500 posts could trigger such a permission. Or to make it more controllable by the admins, users with more than that amount can send them a PM with the desired title. Since there are not too many with such a post count, there wouldn't be much extra work for the administration.
 
I think that how it is currently set up works quiet well because of the personal touch/feel, I was actually thinking about this today and my thought process drifted towards imagining Kier updating a certain members users status to the appropriate title "Gone Postal" (was a funny thought)

Keep it how it is but insert more humor I say
